Apply for a Short Term Rental (STR) License or STR Waitlist

Anyone interested in operating a STR in unincorporated Marin County may apply for the STR Waitlist online, in-person or by mail.

How to Apply:

1.  Online: Submit your application and pay the $50 fee.  
2. In Person: Visit our offices during business hours to apply in person.
3. By Mail:

• Download and complete the STR Waitlist Application .
• Mail the completed form along with the $50 fee to:

Applicants will be waitlisted on a first come first served basis.
