Project Description

The applicant requests Coastal Development Permit approval to construct a new 709 square foot Accessory Dwelling Unit on a developed lot in Stinson Beach. The 709 square feet Accessory Dwelling Unit in addition to the existing development on the site would result in a floor area ratio of 8 percent on the 28,876 square foot lot. The proposed building would reach a maximum height of 12 feet 9 ½ inches above surrounding grade and the exterior walls would have the following setbacks: 89 feet 5 inches from the northern front property line; 6 feet 9 inches from the eastern side property line; 23 feet from the western side property line; more than 100 feet from the southern rear property line. 

Coastal Development Permit approval is required pursuant to Marin County Coastal Zoning Code section 20.68.060.
