Funding to Support Immigrant Communities – Apply Today!

With immigrant rights at the forefront of conversations nationwide, the County of Marin has released a $425,000 Request for Proposals for immigrant support services including:

  • Immigration legal services (free or low-cost immigration legal representation and support including screening, affirmative representation, and removal defense); and
  • Direct support services (immediate and culturally responsive support to prevent housing instability, hunger, and related challenges) for individuals or families who have been impacted by detention or deportation.  

The application period is open from July 17 – August 20, 2025.  Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(6) nonprofit organizations, as well as tax-exempt community-based groups with fiscal agents/sponsors.

  • Thursday, July 17, 2025: Request for Proposal released
  • Monday, July 28, 2025: Deadline to submit questions by 5:00 pm
  • Friday, August 1, 2025: Responses to questions released
  • Wednesday, August 20, 2025: Submitted Proposals due by 5:00 p.m.
  • August 21, 2025 - September 11, 2025: County review period
  • Week of September 15, 2025: Identification of apparent winner(s)
  • October 2025: Contract start

Rapid Response Network

24 Hour Hotline: 415-991-4545 

The Marin Rapid Response Network (MRRN) in Marin  County is a community-led project developed to make residents aware of their rights in interactions with ICE and to provide support during and after a community member’s arrest or detention. 

Anyone in our county can call the 24/7 HOTLINE 415-991-4545  and receive help in real time.

Red Cards

Red Cards help people assert their rights and defend themselves in many situations, such as when ICE agents go to a home. You can read more information about Red Cards, available in multiple languages, from the Immigrant Legal Resource Center (ILRC).
