Our Mission
The Treasury Division ensures financial integrity by safeguarding the County of Marin’s funds. Treasury's primary responsibility is safekeeping and investing funds for the County, Public Schools, and Special Districts in a pooled investment program. Treasury also provides banking services to County departments, and other investment pool participants.
The Division handles bank deposits, monitors and reconciles bank accounts, manages risk exposure, and maintains unclaimed property data.
