Emergency Command Center

We respond in emergencies by dispatching first responders to the incident.

In an emergency, dial 911. For more information, the Marin County Current Fire Hot Line is 415-473-7191.

What we do

The Emergency Command Center (ECC) expanded in 2024. We now dispatch on behalf of all fire agencies within Marin County. The Center is responsible for:

  • Dispatching resources to all emergencies;
  • Maintaining the fire danger index;
  • Maintaining the fire weather system;
  • Coordinating Out of County resource requests, both in-state and out-of-state.

We work with other local agencies, including California State Parks and the National Park Service.
