What we do
The Emergency Command Center (ECC) expanded in 2024. We now dispatch on behalf of all fire agencies within Marin County. The Center is responsible for:
- Dispatching resources to all emergencies;
- Maintaining the fire danger index;
- Maintaining the fire weather system;
- Coordinating Out of County resource requests, both in-state and out-of-state.
We work with other local agencies, including California State Parks and the National Park Service.
