Never miss an emergency alert by signing up for AlertMarin.
What to do
-
Learn the basics of emergency preparedness
Visit ReadyMarin.org to learn about evacuation and disaster preparedness. These resources will teach you how to:
- Create an evacuation plan, so you know where you’ll go and how you’ll get there.
- Evacuate safely with pets or animals.
- Create an evacuation checklist and a go-kit, so you’re prepared to evacuate quickly.
-
Find your evacuation zone and evacuation routes
The maps available at FireSafeMarin.org show all the evacuation zones in Marin County. It’s important to know the “two ways in, two ways out” in your area. This means that you know two different routes you could use in the event of an emergency.
-
Make sure you can always receive alerts
