Use this form to apply for a permit to drill a well.
You must apply and receive a permit in order to dig, bore, drill, deepen, modify, repair, or destroy:
- a water well
- a cathodic protection well
- an observation well
- a monitoring well
- or any other excavation that may intersect ground water
For locations within the Coastal Zones, on the Bolinas Gridded Mesa, or within Water Districts or Public Water Systems, additional requirements and procedures may be required by other agencies. Contact us for details.
You can submit your application with the application fee by mail, in person by appointment, or by email. Our support staff will contact you for credit card payment.
